Salsa Pasión organizes salsa events in Tampere and in other cities in
Finland several times per year. The upcoming events can be seen on our
homepage. World Class Salsa Concert in Pakkahuone Sat 26 July! V Tampere International Salsa Festival presents David Calzado y su Charanga Habanera from Cuba on Saturday 26 of July in Pakkahuone, in the salsa festival's main event. The most popular Cuban salsa orchestra of 19 musicians plays energetic salsa and timba for Finnish salsa fans in their only Scandinavian performance during this summer's European tour. The event starts at 10pm with Dj Diablo (Puerto Rico). Entrances in advance 30 €, sales: Lippupiste, Klubi (Tullikamarin aukio), dance school Salsa Pasión (Finlayson), Epe’s (Kyttälänkatu), Swamp Music (Tuomiokirkonkatu) and GoTampere-sales point at Tampere railway station, entrance at the door 35 €.  Concert tickets are not numbered - the whole concert hall is reserved for dancing and partying. Age limit of the concert is 18 years. Concert tickets can be bought in Lippupiste ticket sales offices in Finland or through the web page: lippu.fi (+6 euro postal fee). You can also pay the ticket to Salsa Pasión's banck account using the directions below. In this case the ticket can be collected from the dance school or at the concert by your name with out extra costs. In advance the tickets cost 30 euro , at the door 35 euro. Tampere International Salsa Festival Tampere International Salsa Festival organized by dance school Salsa Pasión is the first and biggest salsa festival in Finland. The first festival was organized in 2004. During the next festival in 2005, more than 270 salsa dancers participated in workshops from all over Finland. The festival's salsa parties on Friday and Saturday were sold out with more than 500 salsa lovers dancing all night. The third and fourth Tampere Salsa festivals continued the succes in 2006 and 2007. The next Tampere Salsa Festival will be organized already for the fifth time 25.-27.7.2008.  Salsa Parties and Concerts Salsa Pasión organizes small salsa parties on Fridays 9pm-12pm at the dance school, once or twice per month. Exact dates will be published on our homepage before each party. We organize salsa parties, dance shows and salsa concerts also in restaurants. The previous big salsa concert was the concert of Azúcar Negra, a Cuban salsa band, in restaurant Klubi in Tampere which Salsa Pasión organized with Mango y Melón Production House on 19.8.2005. Charanga Habanera  On Saturday 28.1.2006 Salsa Pasión and Mango y Melón Production House presented another famous Cuban salsa orchestra in Tampere: Charanga Habanera in restaurant Klubi!  Gerardo Rosales Dance School Salsa Pasión celebrated its 3-years birth day party by organising the concert of Geraldo Rosales at restaurant Klubi on 16.9.2006.  Juan Formell y Los Van Van 1.3.2007 Salsa Pasión organised super star salsa concert when Juan Formell y Los Van Van played in Pakkahuone, Tampere.  One of the most popular salsa orchestras in the world was impressed by the dancing skills and enthusiasm of their 900 Finnish fans.  Elio Revé y su Charangón 16.8.2007 legendary Elio Revé y su Charangón (Cuba) played at Dance Shool Salsa Pasión's 4 years party at Klubi. La Ley del Son  8.9.2007 the Cuban son and salsa orchestra La Ley del Son performed in Salsa Pasión's Autumn semester opening concert at Klubi. Los Van Van  The most famous Cuban salsa orchestra in the world - Los Van Van performed for the second time in Tampere on Thursday 28 of February 2008 in a concert organised by Salsa Pasión. |
