Couple dances

Salsa, Rueda de Casino, LA-style, Merengue, Bachata, Son and Cha-Cha-Cha are all couple dance lessons. Please sign up in advance only to the beginner's couple salsa course in the beginning of the season. You can sign up (with a partner or without) for example on our contact page. Other couple salsa courses continue automatically on the next level in the beginning of the season. We change couples all the time in the lessons so that everybody learns to dance with everybody - which is one of the main ideas in dancing Cuban and other popular dances.

Salsa basics (Couple salsa 1) starts from scratch in the beginning of January, May and September, as do the level 2,3,4 and 4+ classes. The Cuban group dance Rueda de Casino is teached in two levels: 1-2 and 3-4, numbers meaning the couple salsa levels of which turns are used in the Rueda lesson. Merengue&Bachata, Son and Cha-Cha-Cha courses start from the basics and continues to advance level during one season.

Solo lessons

Step technique, Ladies´salsa, Reggaeton Latino, Cabaret, Despelote, Shines step technique, Timba, Afro-Cuban, Jamaican Ragga, African Dance, Lingala and Samba-Reggae classes are solo classes and accessible without signing up trough out the year. In the most lessons choreographies change every week.

There is a further detailed description on the content of the dance classes on the left. Please contact us for more information about the classes through the Contact us -link!

What to wear in the dance lessons?

It can get quite hot in the dance lessons so the best option is a light outfit for sports, for example a t-shirt and jazz pants. The best shoes are the dance sneakers but any aerobic shoes or just socks or bare feet are ok. In high heels the waight of the body gets often too much to the toes, which is not preferable while dancing Caribbean and African dances. Especially in the up beat solo dance lessons it's good to have a water bottle with you. Welcome!
