Tanssikoulu Salsa Pasión järjestää vuosittain heinäkuun lopulla Tampereen kansainvälisen salsafestivaalin, jota vietetään kesällä 2011 jo kahdeksannen kerran. Tanssikoulu on vuosien aikana järjestänyt myös säännöllisesti salsailtoja tanssikoululla sekä eri ravintoloissa Tampereella. Lisäksi tanssikoulun show ryhmä on esiintynyt useissa tapahtumissa ja tilaisuuksissa erilaisilla kokoonpanoilla.

Tampere International Salsa Festival

Tampere International Salsa Festival organized by dance school Salsa Pasión is the first and biggest salsa festival in Finland. The first festival was organized in 2004. During the next festival in 2005, more than 270 salsa dancers participated in workshops from all over Finland. The festival's salsa parties on Friday and Saturday were sold out with more than 500 salsa lovers dancing all night. The third and fourth Tampere Salsa festivals continued the succes in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. The next Tampere Salsa Festival will be organized already for the eighth time 21.-24.7.2011.

Salsa Parties and Concerts

Salsa Pasión organizes small salsa parties on Fridays 10pm-01am at restaurant Tempo (Hämeenkatu 15).

Azúcar Negra at Klubi

The first big salsa concert that Salsa Pasión organized was the concert of Azúcar Negra, a Cuban salsa band, in restaurant Klubi in Tampere which was organized with Mango y Melón Production House on 19.8.2005.

Charanga Habanera

On Saturday 28.1.2006 Salsa Pasión and Mango y Melón Production House presented another famous Cuban salsa orchestra in Tampere: Charanga Habanera in restaurant Klubi!

Gerardo Rosales

Dance School Salsa Pasión celebrated its 3-years birth day party by organising the concert of Geraldo Rosales at restaurant Klubi on 16.9.2006.
